Rylie

Rylie Cummings is a dedicated yoga instructor who began her practice over seven years ago. Originally from Oregon, she relocated to the Southwest in 2020, where she discovered and cultivated a deep passion for hot yoga and the desert. Her practice has been shaped not only by her commitment on the mat, but also by her love of travel and exploration, continually seeking new perspectives and personal growth.
Rylie was drawn to hot yoga for the heightened sense of awareness it fosters, both mentally and physically. This connection between mind and body remains at the core of her teaching philosophy. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Arizona, with a strong interest in health, wellness, and nutrition.
After two years as a dedicated student at Roots Hot Yoga, Rylie deepened her practice by completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through the studio in 2024. This experience strengthened her connection to the Roots community and inspired her to share yoga as a tool for growth, healing, and self-discovery.
Rylie values the sense of community that yoga creates and is passionate about helping others connect not only with themselves, but with those around them. She spent the past year teaching yoga in England, further expanding her experience and perspective as an instructor. Now back in Arizona, where she has felt at home since 2022, Rylie is excited to continue building community and guiding others on their wellness journey.
